August 2017 updates!

August 2017 updates!

Hi everyone! I have been so incredibly occupied with my health lately that I haven’t had the chance to write a new blogpost. So I thought I’d do a little update for you guys to catch up with my watercolor journey.

First of all, maybe you already noticed, but I have a new logo! I thought it was time to update my handdrawn, weird looking logo and go for a professional looking one instead. And I’m so excited to share it with you all because I love it so much! And if an aqua and gold watercolor logo doesn’t scream ‘me’ I don’t know what does! My plan is to make the logo into a stamp so I can ‘watermark’ my original artwork. Check out the logo in my new Etsy banner below!

Secondly, lately I have been adding loads of original artwork to my Etsy shop. I announce new listings on my Instagram, so be sure to follow me on there to be the first to grab it! I’ve been experimenting with new tools and styles, like my new White Signo Uni-Ball pen and these color and flower circles, which you can both find in my Etsy shop.

I’ve also started a new mini series called #princesspottedplants¬†for which I’m painting potted plants inspired by Disney princesses (you can check out the Insta posts here). I’m thinking about doing a ‘shippingcosts only’ sale on these, which I’ll be announcing on my Instagram in a little while.

And lastly, I want to say a massive thank you to all of my followers, weither you’ve been following and supporting me from the start or if you’re just new to my page, I’m so happy with all of the lovely people that I meet during this art journey of mine. Your likes, messages and DMs make my days brighter and inspire me to keep painting. I’m hoping to one day get 10.000 followers, which seemed like a long shot but now seems to be getting closer every day and I’m so happy with that. Thank you all!!

So, if you made it this far; you are a trooper! Comment down below or send me a comment on Insta to say you’re still reading, I’ll be 100% stalking your page if you do!
